Trauma impacts children’s learning by impacting the brain development. To support children’s learning parents and Educators must understand the brain components and how to support children as they learn differently after trauma. This course explains how the brain operates and the impact of trauma on the learning process. Specific techniques are providing appropriate in the classroom and at home to support children’s learning after a trauma and during healing.
